One Year bad-bros.com!
We proudly present – dear ladies and gentlemen – one year bad-bros.com. Time runs by pretty fast and so today is the day when our favourite Gaming Community can celebrate its first birthday. It was the 1st september 2010 when a new gaming community which called itself bad-bros.com (we are too bad to lose) [lol for that!] was founded, started its first server. Looking back, we have to be honest and have to say we were - and still are - amateurs in a lot of things according to what we are doing.
But in the last 12 months we learned a lot about how to lead a gaming community, servers, website and so on. Maybe some of you may remember our first homepage (omg, i hope no one remembers that horrible thing though we try to load a picture up), and though from todays perspective it was horrible, we felt pretty proud when we published it because that was kind of the first milestone on the way to become an established community. The other essential aspect - the gameserver - started the same day and, well, it (kind of) succeded but it was a lot of work to get it started day by day.
Anyway, we found our regulars, friends, mates and a lot of other guys playing on our server regularly and so it was inevitable for us to run further servers. As you all will have noticed, and we have to admit that too, it took a while to find the best mix between the number of servers, the playmode and the mapcircles. This might have been the most challanging quest during the last 12 months. Our community kept growing and so did our homepage. We added a lot of functions like the server rankings and the hall of fame, a lot of tools to solute players problems (unban and other request) and added a teamspeak channel where we invite everyone to join.
Well, that was the bad-bros.com history in 3 minutes (:D), but now we will illuminate the future for a moment. ATTENTION! official bad-bros.com leadership message: we will have Battlefield 3 servers :D Okay, thats enough, to realize that, we need you, all of you and all of you as often as possible.
In connection with that we reach the next topic of our celebration-post: the notes of thanks. First we have to say a big, more a gigantic thanks to all our players, who keep the servers running day by day, because you are what gives our community its character, you make it unique, you make bad-bros.com being bad-bros.com and you all are bad-bros.com. Thank you guys for joining our servers, empty or full (especially thanks for joining empty servers, for your patience and power you put into them to get them started and to hold them running). Further we have to say thanks to a lot of guys around our community, to Brian for giving us the chance to play together as a team in regular community fights, to saniboy for posting news all around Battlefield 3 and other games, to the ingame admins for leading the server and to the other guys in the community leadership for creating our homepage. All of you put a lot of time in what you are doing to make sure everything is working. Looking back on 12 successful months we can be very optimistic for the future and everything else that comes to us.
Looking foward to a successful future and a lot of fun on the battlefields,
your bad-bros.com team
